I was blessed to have received a word from a messenger of God. It resonated with me wholeheartedly. For someone who goes to God for any and everything, lately, the challenges of life have been TRYING to come between me and God's promises. I noticed that the enemy has a way of creeping in when we are in our most vulnerable state and will try to keep us there. I also noticed that the enemy attacks when we are in a transitioning stage in our lives, especially when growth is in Gods current plan for us. As we go through different stages in life, the older we get the more we should be growing. Not only should we be growing but we should be striving towards our hearts deepest desires. We all know that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us and that we are the embodiment of infinite possibilities and not to mention we pray to a God who will do exceedingly, abundantly, above, and beyond all that we ask, think, or pray for. This being said, God knows that some things can not come with us to the next level in our lives. We can't possibly carry over some of these bad habits/decisions that could possibly hinder us from getting to that next stage or whatever God has for us. This is where it gets uncomfortable, and in these uncomfortable spaces on top of external things that affect us that are out of our control. We can get knocked down a few times, but the good news is...we can get back up again. Getting knocked down doesn't necessarily have to be a growth challenge. You can be knocked down by fear, your past, losing a lost one, addictions, drama, heartache, habits, confusion, self-doubt, sickness, (insert a challenge here). Some may believe it's impossible to overcome these hurdles so they may stay stuck in these spaces. Don't be afraid to pray a little harder while you wait on the promise that we all have been told, Hebrews 13:5 "I will never leave you nor forsake you"
"The next time you are failed with this reality of the cautious way you may be living life or are failed with life's current circumstances and want to overcome that fear that is driving your decisions and helping you avoid the opportunities that are there and being a partner in this space with God in a new and different way, declare new things....
I am willing to admit that I am afraid
I am willing to be wrong
I am willing to apologize
I am perfectly willing to be perfectly human
I am willing to express my emotions
I am willing to express my insecurities
I am willing to try and fail and try again
I am willing to make mistakes and own up to them
I am willing to be fearlessly passionate about things others don't care about
I am willing to risk rejection for the chance at something beautiful
I am willing to speak my mind even when people laugh at me
I am willing to dream big and live with hope rushing through my veins
I am willing to live my life the way that I want
I am willing to perfectly live an imperfect human life knowing that my life is filled with mistakes and obstacles and hardships and I may make choices that won't work out"
I am worthy of God's blessings of abundance
I am worthy of Gods love, peace, and joy
I am deserving of another chance
I am worthy of God's forgivness
I am worthy of my own forgiveness
When things don't work out, you push for it to work out not realizing that the only way you are going to enjoy life is by growing through what you are going through.
You live. You grow. You learn.
Every now and then you will fall short but don't stop living because you can declare new things in your life. Don't give up on God, don't give up on yourself. The battle is worth it, as long as you remember whose battle is it, not yours!
Matthew 25:23: His lord said to him, “Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.”
(I used to think this scripture meant that God wanted us to be faithful over things meaning tangible things, and it wasn't until recently when I realized he wants us to be faithful in spirit, faithful over his promises)
Faith and fear can not coexist Be that person who already won the battle, because the victory is already his, he's just waiting for you to believe it.
