A heart for a heart
Bits of Falling pieces I am not a whole Disconnection Unfelt energy Arms stretched as far as they could go Head tilted back Rain falling slowly But yet I feel nothing Winds pushing me in every direction Running in place, heavy forces up against me This is my battlefield Close your eyes Envision the very beginning When the skies first appeared I am Eve I am bare I am your anchor I will not give a you a part of me I will not share my fruits For you do not understand the meaning of my creation Your species is supposed to protect but yet you destroy You belittle our existence HuMAN, woMAN, woMEN, no MEN This is not your world We multiply the seeds being sown We procreate in any climate Before you were able to breathe life, you rested within our darkness Before you took your first step, it was our vision that lead your path Before you could differentiate the day from the night it was our light that you stood upon Reprogram your perceptions Eliminate your horrid notions Peel off your layers of deadly sins A new life One that exists when we are awaken For this is possible once you unveil oneself Run past fields of flowers, blossoming after every step you take Climb through trees that grow as tall as the heavens we've yet to reach Lie down in the midst of a pulse that beats as heavy as an earthquake moving the earth This ark we've yet to sail can not move without a pair I pray every individual finds their reflection Find your shadow that will face every arrow shot in your direction Swiftly float into your garden Fresh soil pressed against ones flesh Life in its purest form Capture my tears while painting my smiles Adapt to my fears, take a chance to walk down this green mile But choose wisely Whatever it takes I will find my Adam. |
